Insolvency Practices

Our partners are founding and council members of Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria (BRIPAN) with competent in:
  1. sell the assets of the person or company who owes money;
  2. collect money due to the person or company;
  3. agree creditors' claims; and
  4. distribute the money collected after paying costs.
Our partners are licensed and authorised to act in relation to an insolvent individual, partnership or company. At Mc FORD our insolvency work process has been uniquely designed with the understanding of intricacies associated with Insolvency Practitioner's work which involves dealing with many competing interests, but usually their main duty is to look after the interests of creditors.

Although creditors can give details of their claims, Insolvency Practitioners will not agree the claims until they are sure that funds will be available. In some cases, the Insolvency Practitioner will give advice to a debtor immediately before a formal insolvency process begins.
